I Heart Dalikfodda Shithouse Tour 3

Jettblack played at our night at the Macbeth last night. Wierdly, the guys from Twilight were there! Now I know a lot of people think its SHIT but I loved that movie. I love teen a movie!

EDIT: I just googled Robert Pattinson and Kristen @ Macbeth to see if I could grab a pic and its unbelievable how obsessed people are by them! Its was being tweeted whilst they were there. Fucking wierd. Anyway, here is a pic of the man himself last night, apparently the fans call him R Patz:

All the girls (apart from me) fancied this dude. Basically as he had his top off, longish hair and was playing a guitar. ITS THAT SIMPLE!

I think the rain put a few people off venturing out but it was still busy. I drank too much again and then overslept this morning. Woke up half an hour after I was meant to be in a meeting. How professional! Luckily the meeting was about putting on a party so I think I was forgiven – I obviously now how to throw a good one and enjoy it.

‘Im Here’ screening at 14 Bike Co

The screening of Spike Jonze’s new short, ‘I’m Here’ that I organised at 14 Bike Co was great. We had the first UK screening but there are other screenings going on around the UK right now so try catch it at one of the other locations. I enjoyed the film plus the cocktails provided by Absolut were ace.  Espresso martinis….yum. I now have enough vodka chez moi to bathe in too which is somewhat of a bonus.

Jonathan Winstone’s Made In Britain exhibition

Karaoke star Jonathan Winstone has an exhibition entitled ‘Made In Britain’ now in 14 Bike Co. It’s mainly pictures of frame builders including Superted but I particularly like these portraits.

Until The Light Takes Us

I can’t wait to see this movie all about the black metal scene in Norway, Until The Light Takes Us

The film saw the directors move to Norway for a couple of years to get to know everyone involved and get the real scoop. A killer soundtrack and interviews with Gylve “Fenriz” Nagell, Varg “Count Grishnackh” Vikernes, Jan Axel “Hellhammer” Blomberg, Kjetil “Frost” Haraldstad, Olve “Abbath” Eikemo, Harald “Demonaz” Nævdal and Bjarne Melgaard make this a must see.

Not sure how or why Harmony Korine muscled his way into this though; what exactly has he got to do with black metal? Yes, yes, there’s metal on the Gummo soundtrack but I have it on good authority that he was rather more than slightly helped out with that one…..

Anyway, the film is screening in London at the Rio on March 27th. If you are in France, join Laura Manganaro’s facebook group – if enough people join, they’ll show it there. Seriously – thats how we got the London screening rocking.

The last day Tony and Tom were here it pissed it down with rain non stop. It was total shit. Shame for them it was beautiful the day after and they missed it. Hurry back soon guys, it was fun having you here! Plus we didn’t get to ride together at all.

Spike Jonze screening at 14 Bike Co. RSVP!

At the party on Sunday we showed the trailer to the new Absolut commissioned Spike Jonze short. I’m super excited to be organising the screening of the entire film on Monday 22nd Feb in 14 Bike Co.

Spike Jonze is a total legend; not only did he make some of the best music videos and skate movies ever (I have always loved ‘Mouse’), but he also directed Being John Malkovich and more recently, Where The Wild Things are.

You’ve gotta come down to the store and check it out! We’ll be having two screenings; one at 7pm and another at 9pm.
